This rare survivor from the late baroque period of the 1600s was made in the Tuscany region of Italy, the dome topped chest with a pine wooden carcass covered in brown leather. The dome hinged top is decorated with brass stud work panels; the two central panels with star shaped motifs the end panels with stylized heraldic shields, the base of the
