Antique Victorian Celluloid Picture Frame with Cabinet Card Photograph of Girl Holding Doll c. 1900 18th c Delftware A well-preserved example of earlyThis charming late Victorian picture frame retains its original cabinet card photograph depicting a young girl proudly holding her beloved doll, creating a wonderful glimpse into childhood at the turn of the twentieth century. The frame is constructed from a thin embossed celluloid overlay mounted to a substantial cardboard backing, a popular decorative technique during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Richly moulded with flowing Art Nouveau
